Oakleigh Pistol Club (OPC) is a welcoming and friendly club that has been in operation for over 60 years. Based in Clayton, Victoria, OPC has the advantage of being one of the few Metropolitan clubs that is easily accessible to most of the population.
Most ISSF, IPSC and ICORE disciplines are available at OPC. Our comprehensive calendar gives all members, an ample opportunity to participate in their selected discipline.
With safety as our first priority, all new members must pass a handgun safety awareness course, along with specific handgun safety practical courses., before they are allowed to participate in matches and shoots at the club.
With over 20 CCTV cameras throughout the complex, safety and security is our prime focus.
Rest assured that with the forthcoming changes and improvements to our amenities and ranges, that OPC will be one of the best clubs in Victoria, to participate in your chosen sport of target shooting.
We are often asked if people can come down "Just for a Shoot" The quick answer is NO.
Whilst we encourage people to investigate whether Pistol Shooting is the sport for them, we do this in a controlled manner.
If you are interested in seeing what the sport is all about, then we encourage you to Click Here to register your interest. Our committee will contact you and arrange a time when someone can show you around the complex and explain the various disciplines that you can participate in, when you join.
